Maybe tanking was the easiest way to get it? If in a group ofc the caster (hopefully) does not have agro, so the mobs attention is on the tank and thus spells are not landing on the caster who needs to learn them? So in a way of speaking the caster would have to tank. Not sure since I played a druid ...

These random loot systems have been in place since even before MMOs. The earliest devs based these games of the random chart systems in pen and paper games like the old DnD. In that setting especially very much promoted group content and sharing around to gear ones companions for the next battle ...

If you have a working spell you are blessed by the gods. Right now the only known working ability is /autoattack. I shall make a necro now muhahahaha

Thats great. I was under the assumption there wouldnt be too much modification going on and that included adding in things that didn't already exist. That being said I would love to see some new armor and weapons in the game. Even if it does take years to implement would be neat to see. Makes me ...

Druids got somewhere in the region of 40 points and disciple just over 20. Druid points recovered over time. Some of their abilities used quite a few. 10 or more. Starfall used quite a lot and had a cooldown IIRC. Disc points built up during a fight then wore off over time. I can't find any mention ...
