If this is what I think it is, it actually happened to me once tonight on my local dev machine I got eaten by a Silverwing and died, released, and laid there dead at the altar too. I had to camp to recover. Tested dying some more and it never happened again. Weird! And, funny.

fwiw, there seems to be a crash when I first install/unzip this to my VG folder, run it, and log in.
