It allowed me to create a "server account" with the email I would have used back then. I have a feeling that toon is an orphan (not tied to an account). Not a big deal, I'll just make snomtwo or something lol

I probably created it when the VGOE first came online, but just now when I downloaded the client and tried to log in I had to create a "server login." Did that, logged in, and proceeded to create my first character. The name "Snom" is taken. if that is indeed someone else, they're welcome to it, but ...

And I went to Tursh, found two npcs, one male one female, and just talked to them back and forth, hearing the halfling farewells...

I believe the whole server was booted on that last one.
