Vanguard Build 2225.3 Patch Notes November / 19 / 2008

Essence Healers will heal your rez/revive sickness and can be found in the following chunks:
Razad
Nusibe
Tehatamani
Ruins Falls
Shores of Darkness

I never saw one of these in game, or maybe I did and forgot. Were they removed?

Rez sickness was a different beast. Rez sickness reduced all your stats for five minutes, regardless of how much xp you lost. Maybe there was a potion for rez sickness, too, but I wouldn't know. That's not something I would've looked for in the station shop. I can see them removing the Essence Healers to sell potions, tho.

They were in game, just not used very much as it was just easier to wait the raz sick time out than rift around to get to one of these guys. (unless one was close).

I always went to ToT to use them since you get the Afrit buffs there as well. But sometimes they wouldn't work, or when you got rezzed, your rez sick would come back (That drove me crazy). I personally hate the idea of rez sick because it doesn't really "punish you for dying" as much as it caused "Everyone to sit around and wait for it to drop off".

Agreed. It was frustrating at times but it definitely encouraged playing smarter.

Aye this is something I liked as well, it made you think before jumping in.
