Difficulty color codings

I would like to get a review of the color codes that indicate difficulties.
As far as I recall they are applied to mob, quest and work order difficulties, in relation to the level of the character.

This is the best shot I have atm (source https://forums.station.sony.com/vg/inde ... tly.20057/)
Purple Suicide (More than 5 levels above you)
Red Very Difficult (3-5 levels above you)
Yellow Difficult (1-2 levels above you)
White Challenge (Your level)
Blue Moderate (1 level below you)
Light Blue Easy (2 levels below you)
Green Very Easy (3-5 levels below you)
Gray Cake (More than 5 levels below you)
Thanks in advance.

Adding info from this link http://wiki.silkyvenom.com/index.php/Dots that Xinux brought me.
Noting that this post does not have the blue (only light blue) color.
. Grey - Trivial meaning no xp
Green - 3 levels below you gives a little xp
Light Blue - 2 levels below you give a bit more xp
White - Same level as you gives avg xp
Yellow - 1 level above gives a bit more xp
Red - 2 levels above gives quite a bit more
Purple - 3 levels+(i think) if you can kill this you got lucky or hacked.. No idea on xp amount

Or you're playing a healer.

Anywho, your first post is more accurate. 5+ levels was generally purple and yes, the mob was a significant challenge (and shouldn't be possible for most folks). As for experience bonuses/deductions? Besides gray I don't recall there being any but that could be me just misremembering.

Thanks Koralith! With your input and since I am at this stage only after the numbers (to show the colors ) and not any balancing, this is the current draft:
Purple More than 5 levels above you
Red 3-5 levels above you
Yellow 1-2 levels above you
White Your level
Blue 1 level below you
Light Blue 2 levels below you
Green 3-5 levels below you
Gray More than 5 levels below you
More input is welcome.

Crafting Work orders were only listed as Yellow (hard), White (Kinda hard), Blue (Should be easy) and Gray (no XP).

Crafting:

Just threw in Light Blue but yeah, spot on otherwise

Yellow (Hard), White (Normal), Blue (Easy), Light Blue (Very Easy), Gray (No exp just faction)

Diplo:

You can parley up to 5 levels above your level but you are not able to parley more than 5 levels above your level.

You can grind out exp on lower levels without restriction and still receive exp and faction, even 20/30/40 levels below your level.

Diplo experience was exaggerated greatly (required 1,000,000 exp to level but gave you 100,000 per parley for a rough example, so it seemed nasty but wasn't) but I feel the overall time it took to level Diplo was quite easy, as I said in another post, my record was 1-50 in 16 hours using exp pots.

Edit: fixed yellow/white to proper difficulty setting

Not a crafter, but what would be considered "Normal" difficulty?

Volt: The adventuring colors looks correct.

Wasn't there Red (Very Hard)? I haven't crafted in VG in years, so I don't remember.

Nah mate, yellow was the hardest and an npc would run out of yellow work orders after a while and not refresh, so they were valuable and worth saving until you knew that you could complete them.
