Hail and well met fellow Telonians! I was MIrthas Ritardondo, half elf bard. I actually only started playing Vanguard back in 2012, but I had wanted to play at launch. I wasn't able to due to the very high system requirements, and then I heard about all the chaos and problems at launch so I just let it be until one day I say VG was still around and went FTP! So I tried it and of course loved it, even with all the ridiculous station cash nonsense. On shut down day I celebrated with the huge boat party in Khal and I was there with Moorguard in the Nexus for the final moments. First MMORPG I've ever been in that actually died. The community in Vanguard was even better than the one in Everquest back in it's golden age, so YES this game is worth reviving if just for the community! Best crafting ever, and diplomacy was a very cool concept. No instancing...I mean really this was the real successor to EQ not that pile of crap EQ2 (sorry EQ2 fans but that is how I feel about it). The class design of VG was great too. I look forward to being in Telon again!
