Server has been unresponsive for 10 minutes now, seems it shut down at 5 PM PST? I swear SOE if this is the case ...

Sounds like SOE, but it did synch with the countdown clock on this site, so maybe it was the right time?
Either way, I missed the last day, yay work

Sorry to hear that ily but you did not miss much. ONE gm came online and teleported everyone who send a tell to Nexus and gave a hp buff transformed peopel and you could talk to frogs to gain levels.
Most gathered in Khal, after the 10th chunk crash i stopped to count

I saw the 59 mins till server shutdown message, then it crashed. Been a good 10-15 mins already.

They actually went 15 minutes longer than the quoted time. It shutdown around 6:15 PST.

Ugh, cant say im surprised, out with a whimper. SOE could have at least attempted something memorable for Vanguard. But they end the game as they ran it. An afterthought.
Regardless I say to all of you, Thanks! New and Old, you were/are what made/makes Vanguard special. And the idea of facing New Telon with all of you makes me less sad for what was lost, and more excited for whats coming!

Past few days I've just been capturing video footage, my vanguard save folder for this is now up to 44 gigs of 1080 video!
