Just got on the site and freaked out since it reads 8 hours 50 minutes. We should be at right under 12 hours now, if I'm not mistaken.

I believe it was counting down to the tick of midnight when it turned 31st of Aug. It makes me sad to see it a 00 00 00 00 so close to the end

Well, its looking like its going to hit 6:00PM Eastern time, which means it should be +3 hours.

I'm just hoping that timer is wrong because I won't get to experience "the end" with my wife.

Humm guessing it doesn't take into account the time zones and is set for pacific time.

yeah I **think** it's 3 hours too fast (but as John and I discovered, my math skills are non-existent).

Edit: yeah, being PDT time and not adjusting for my EDT makes sense as it is a 3 hr difference. I beleive the issue is that it is infact adjusting for local time when it shouldn't It's telling me how long till MY clock hits 6pm

Yup, it's definitely adjusting for the viewer (when it should stay static) then. Yours is correct, mine shows 6 hours which would be 6PM my time.
