Vanguard User Interface Customization

Greetings! Wow, am I getting some flashbacks, remembering how Vanguard made even the most powerful PC's chug back in the day!

However, I'm trying to adjust to my 4k monitor, and the "/uidrawscale" command I got from https://vanguard.fandom.com/wiki/User_I ... tomization
doesn't seem to work. I'm thinking of looking at the XML files next, I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a bigger UI for 4k displays. I'd also like to run in maximized window/no border mode but that doesn't seem to be an option.

I'm looking at the list of UI Customization and wondering what each one does, exactly, and whether there is one or two that could be installed just to get my feet wet, or do I install them all? It looks like https://vginterface.com/ is still working, but there are an overwhelming tons of UI addons there, and it's all dated for 2012.

Can we get some kind of guide to these few UI addons listed here to help make installation decisions?

Thanks!

I've never tried uidrawscale, but I know /uiwinscale requires the mouse to be over the element you want to change the size of. I know that's not really helpful but it might work as a stopgap for now. /unwinscale also does not save, even if you save your current UI. You have to do it everytime you log in.

I believe there is a way to permanently change the size of the elements via the custom UIs, but I just don't know how this is done.

I don't think there's many of us on the team here that know how the UIs work, maybe if we can find some of those old UI creators to come to the project, they can answer the questions.

Thanks for that tip to mouse over, I'll try that. And yeah, I know it doesn't save :(

I've got some experience with custom UI's, so I think I can handle installing those on the list here:

Question is, which one(s)? Or all of them? Like I said, there's a million at VGInterface...
