Actually there have been collectible bags that could be equipped in the harvest bag slot, but you couldn't place ressources in them, only the collectibles for the ancient plat coins... and as far as i remember there have been some craftable harvest bags as well made by leatherworkers, but noone bought them, as they weren't really big, the collectible bag was bigger and there has been a way to put other stuff than the colletibles in the collectible bag

Would be really nice to have nice sweet big harvest bags, that sort in ressources automatically as you harvest them, and that allows you to put in your harvest tools as well...

The harvesting bags made by crafters had to be put in the regular bag slots, that's why so many of us have requested a regular harvesting bag slot on the harvesting character sheet like crafters and diplomats get their own containers on the character sheet.

The collectable bag actually had an exploit that would let you put anything that's not soulbound and not no trade. Some of us used that to put harvesting mats in it, though I would have felt better if we could take advantage of real harvesting bags for that purpose. But no one's going to give up regular adventuring bags for harvestng bags, and there was no easy way to trade them out unless you kept your bags constantly empty.

This was really a big deal for boat makers since you needed so much timber for it, which took up a lot of regular bag space when you wanted to make a boat.

ah right, I remember that now... who would give up an adventuring bag for a bag that's smaller and would only let you put mats into it?

and I had a carpenter as well, made 5 galleons for myself (and some more for friends and the market), a lot of caravels and sloops too... harvest, house recall, put timber into your house, recall, run back to harvest area, harvest, house recall ... ad infinitum

So probably would be good to grab those crafted harvest bags from the databank, make them equippable in the harvest bag slot and increase the number of slots...

and another idea: it would be great if the chests in your house or your banks would sort in new stuff to existing stacks automatically. Basically that has been the reason for me to sort my dusts alphabetically: to find the correct stack easier and to avoid to have several stacks of the same dusts, but still I spent a lot of time sorting it that way.
