Well, my post wasn't posted and I'm glad it wasn't. To be fair and honest, I am, and the tens of thousands of players are so indebted to you and the people who spend your free time working on this project. I just believe we deserve more information than what is given, Again I know you don't give out information at will or lightly, and you're so tight-lipped about things. I just think at this point many who follow this project don't even care anymore, Most just log on after 3-4 months and no "real" info is given, no real "eta" is given no real suggestions are given. I'd like to know how many people visited this site during the first 1-2 years of this site's lifetime, the last 2 years. I hope the last 2 years are many many more than the first two, but to be honest with myself and you I will say it's less even tho I hope it's way more than you have had and way more donations now, then than. I know for my self and many who check these forums constantly, please give us more info, and please let us in on everything you know and everything your done, future or past.

Let me say this, I am very sorry Jakkal, I was very drunk when I wrote this. Altho there are points I can agree with and some I can't that you said, Maybe I got my facts wrong about you being a GM, But me and you did know each other in game and grouped a few times and had talks and helped each other out at times. Yeah, I totally agree to a point, I think of the followers just log on to see what's new with no new donations. I could be totally be wrong here and if you say I am, Than I will accept it. I think the more eyes on this project the more donations. Again I could be totally wrong.

If you mean the source code from SOE, no, we never got it (Unlike some other emulators we get compared to a lot).

If you mean our work, the answer is no.

We originally had it available hoping that open source magic would do its work. What we found was that we were spending way too much time helping people try to get their server running, and were getting exactly nothing back in return. We decided it would be best if we closed off the code until it's closer to being released. Only developers and those that give back to the project have access to the server code.

Our intention is to release it open source once it's in more stable shape. We don't know when that will be.
