Details:
Harvested a jute node with my sickle. I then tried to move to a metal node and the game said I was still harvesting and couldn't change tools.

I attacked a mob thinking that would knock me out of harvesting mode. No luck.

I opened a forge, then closed it and was able to change harvesting tools after that.
