Pet kills don't give you quest updates unless you do some damage.

I'm pretty sure this is intentional. I recall my pets on my shaman in live did this. If you let the pet do all the work, you get no credit.

Now if you're fighting with the pet, the pet gets the killshot and you don't get credit, there might be a problem. But that doesn't sound like that's what's going on here.

I remember in live that if I got attack on my necro and my pet did all the "work" i would still get credit. Might be a diffrence in class though.

(I have a macro placing my bone spear and pet attack together)
This presented an issue for me because as I was doing a lower level quest to do some testing, Before I could fully cast my bone spear my pet had already killed the mob with no credit.

I am sure this issue will be for other also, because during live I would do grey quests alot for titles, recipes, ect
