Re: Difficulty color codings
I too was never a crafter but I recently stared at many a UI. Isn't RED just for, "You can't make this now"? Like, missing components or something.
Re: Difficulty color codings
I know I have seen both red and purple crafting work orders, but trying to recall I think it was only from the crafting societies in New Targonor and Ahgram. That could mean that the red and purple codes indeed were in place for work orders, but that those difficulties never were available for ordinary work orders.
Funny how the green difficulty seems to be missing for work orders, but I do believe you are right. I too can not recall it.

Yes but in a different context.

Now that you mention it, there were a couple of "red" and "purple" workorders that, I can't recall exactly what the situation was, or where they were, but they were not the norm. Most taskmaskters don't have them. I think those might have been special work orders, like from the Societies in NT and Ahgram.
Edit: Oh I remember now. Those were the only work orders that listed all that they had, no matter what level you were.
Other taskmasters only display the work orders around your level range. So that's why normal task masters don't have the reds and purples, while the society taskmasters or other special style work orders display the reds/purples.
