Hello from your newest player
It's wonderful to be able to play Vanguard again, I thought the game was lost forever until I ran across a link to this website totally by accident. I still miss my old Goblin Necromancer and couldn't wait to rebuild him. I'm a little sad that the starter area for goblins isn't working properly yet (no quest givers), but am so glad to be able to get in what I consider to be one of the best games ever, even if it did frustrate the hell out of me when it came to crafting.

Welcome back to Telon.
Goblin starter area is Grimsea Watch/Martok, it should be set up. Or do you mean the Gnome city Mekalia? That is still being rebuilt.

Glad you found the way back
I have tested Goblin as well, starting loc Grimsea Watch, all was ok. Almost whole Kojani should work well, however I have to return there one day. I know like one or two chunks are not 100% finished. One thing to mention - northern Kojani also suffers from texture troubles, so make macro /flush or /flush all, prolly you will need /stuck yes (in case you fall through). Sadly, this is the game core client issue, nothing we can do about it Do not need to report bug with "disappearing mobs", it is linked with the client issue as well. I know about it, the only fix is to set individual movement per mob, which is extremely time consuming (
Anaway, good luck and enjoy the game!

I apologise, I missed the initial quest giver behind where I spawned and seeing that the NPCs were not fighting each other, I assumed the area was not a working starter area. I restarted a character there and am thoroughly enjoying myself, so Hi from Skaak Deathgiver, the most cowardly goblin necromancer to ever creep, hide and stealth through the game!
