Re: Attribute/Gear Mods Testing
The trouble is that 15 is also all of the specialized spell damage focus values (so 7 attributes in one). My code is written such that they are all separate attributes.

Re: Attribute/Gear Mods Testing
As I've been playing with this and trying to figure out the correct stat defaults, I have run into a couple of problems though. 1) The item mod parsed data has all of the values as unsigned ints. There are several items that have negative item mods. I think we can fix this without a re-parse, but I ...

Re: Attribute/Gear Mods Testing
This is interesting. I see that the new characters got created without errors. I'm also still logged into the server. Very strange.
Edit: I was just able to create a character on my server as well. I have no clue why others are having an issue... I'll dig into it more tomorrow.

Attribute/Gear Mods Testing
Hello All! I could use some help testing the attribute code as well as the item equip code. Specifically you should be able to equip items and get their bonuses applied. I have a few attributes that even apply their mods to other attributes. So if you are interested in helping me test this, please c...

Re: Where am I?
These will be helpful as I don't have the info on the mobs in the three areas attached to the temple. I'm not sure if we have anywhere that you could put them, but archiving them and putting them somewhere might be a good idea in case you have a hard drive crash. Alternatively, if you want to join o...

Re: Where am I?
I heard that a house on the edge of Sepulchral Chasm had a secret area, but I never found it.
I think the location you are looking for is at ".move 62436 5590 8500". Click the floor there and it will open up the secret passage to the cave of wonders. The ...

Re: Where am I?
I think I have the locs for all 4 areas of the Kurashasa starting area (I'm pretty sure that I posted them in a thread somewhere here). Sadly SOE closed it down a long while ago. I think, but some disagree, that only Kurashasa could use the teleporter to get back once they left. I don't think our ca...

Re: Consideration for possible Itemization fix.
I like the work you have done. Personally I think that all items that we have captured need to be run through a script to check/update their stats based on whatever formula we decide (this is a great start). Then we have a field in the DB that lets us flag special items that don't follow the formula...

Re: Telon Weather Patterns
It's a great idea. I think it would be a bit more complex though as I know the storms move over the chunks. So it is much more then chunk X is raining. Somehow the storms have an X,Y within the chunk and that moves. As much as I would love to see this working, I'm guessing that it will be one of the...
