Either way, I personally loved the feeling of EQ. I remember starting in EQ and not getting any armor with stats until around level 10-15 or so! I was so excited when I got my first piece of gear with +1 int.

Hmmm.. That is even stranger. I'm still pretty sure that this is caused by the client getting attributes that it shouldn't be. Since none of them are -1 it won't be easy to find them though. If anyone wants to try creating a character on my server that would help. If you can reproduce the bug there ...

I'm pretty sure that this is due to your character getting corrupted attributes saved into the DB. When this happened I don't know and I can't seem to see characters via the DBE anymore. In EQ I found that a chanter+monk was a great pull team (I was the chanter). That way if something went horribly wrong the monk could just drop all of it. We got so good at it that we didn't even need to talk about it. We just started chain pulling. Oh how I miss those days.
