Shadetusk Boars do not spawn an essence.
I do not see Shadetusk "boars" specifically, but the Stampeder mobs are boars, so assuming they are the correct mobs. Have killed 5 of them no essence spawns to use the item on. They were 100% spawn rate on the other 3 mob types needed for the quest.
