Yes you fixed the mob debuffs which is great. However chunk crashing is far from fixed. Any and every chunk is still crashing constantly and certain KDQ chunks are still lagging horribly. If anything i'd say these last few hotfixes have worsened the crashing. Having two hotfixes in one day during primetime is bad enough, but not fixing the issues it was suppose to is beyond frustrating.

Maybe I just happened to be in the only stable chunks last night, but I played for at least 2 hours and rifted to several different chunks and the game was running very smooth for me. Obviously this is either contained in only certain chunks, or it has something somehow to do with user end data as well. Whatever it is, I hope they get it fixed quickly. No sense in a double XP weekend if people can't play.

It is my opinion that gameplay was improved yesterday although chunk crashes are still randomly occurring. With all the potential issues from buffs, EE's, movement, mounts, etc that could be affecting things (remember when crafting was the culprit crashing hubs?) it will surely take a while to squash this nuisance. The xp weekend was a good response to the pain of the last week of craziness in game. Thank you for trying to keep our game moving forward.

Yeah PotA and KDQ were having major problems last night. Game client would crash all of our group out of the game, or send us to the character select screen every hour or so.

ToD and 3 River chunks are both experiencing issues right now. Both are virtually unplayable.

NT and VE was crashing last night while I was trying to do Banishers quest on an alt.

Did it ever occur to anyone that these "tweaks" are being evaluated and implemented while there are 3 significant issues with raid damage present that will hopefully be fixed moving forward?
    • Refresh haste stacking where it should not.
    • Bard song damage percentage components stacking.
    • Player auras and/or combat buffs stacking not only with each other, but even combat buffs of different levels from the very same toon.
Any one of those generates a sizable increase in overall damage output.. having all three simultaneously... insanity. This is just one of several reasons why it is important to fix the game before you release new content. How is possible to evaluate tweaks when the foundation available to test the mobs is completely shaky?

How do my buddies put it? "Exploit first exploit often" Seems new content caters to those that ought not need the help in the first place when it is released as it was.. you know, those HARDCORE guilds.

I chuckled when I read about the release of Cave of Wonders, when City of Brass was obviously still on life support. I spat beer out of my nose when I read the second emergency hotfix in regards to this release. I facepalmed at the refusal to listen to the playerbase in regards to not pushing this content... they aren't even inside the architecture and told you this would happen. And now I'm suffering a pain in my chest at the latest update notes revealing "Yay gloves are soulbound" and "Quest Z may not be borked anymore". I would point out that these are all emotes that don't exist in Vanguard... and I'm not asking them to.

The point of this post is to indicate that the majority of these problems, the resulting community ire, the compounded bugs and raid lag, and the hopeless outlook of your members-en-exodus were all caused by decisions you made as the dev team that were not asked for anymore than the above emotes. We did not ask for a defiance system. We did not ask for a forced release of Cave of Wonders. We did not ask for a BBO system. We did not ask for a database character saving overhaul. We did not ask for some hairbrained "build your own hero" armor paradigm. All of these were conceptualized, designed, developed, implemented, bugged, tweaked, left bugged anyway, and trampled over to get to the next without listening to a single word from your playerbase telling you to "stop". The closest you came was when you decided to finally use the test server because of our screaming - and you patted yourselves on the back for it as though it wasn't expected of you since day 1.

What we wanted was a working game. There were more than a handful of posts informing you we as veterans were willing to wait on new content if it meant fixing the list of major issues. There are still massive flaws in the stinking Tharridon encounter for crying out loud. Falling through the world bugs have caused even mid level encounters to be taken off of up-and-coming guild lists. You pushed forward content that even with no bugs would benefit less than a half-dozen guilds at the very top of the totem pole, and left the game in shambles for the vast majority of your playerbase... all because you thought it was "in the players best interest if you did X, Y, and Z."

We told you we didn't want X, Y, and Z. Now you've made a complete mess of Telon... send out an SOS email to Smed requesting attention, or this title is kaput. I see no way to fix this aside from a six month time warp followed by rerouting your efforts... or releasing the source code to your playerbase.

TLDR: Did you ask for any of this?

And here we are wondering where had all our requests went to? Is there really a point to post suggestions if most of them are ignored by soe. Tired of all this nonsense. I Have not logged in the game for almost more than a month. And to be honest not having the will power to even click the Vg icon to play. Now cow is out you guys think this would save face? No instead you just added more bugs to the list of broken stuff in vg. Pls stop ignoring players plea and posts. Your killing the game even further.

A daily update on the situation with the game would be appreciated. Even a simple: "We continue to work on the issue but still not have found the root cause." Or "We think we understand the problem and we are making good progress to implementing a fix". We all understand the history and challenges of Vanguard code. Some simple constant communication goes a long ways.
