    To help us diagnose and resolve your technical issues, please start your own thread (even if someone else has posted what seems to be the exact same issue) and post all the information requested below;

    1. Problem(s) you are having including any error messages. What is the exact error message? Please be as specific as possible.
    2. When did these problems begin?
    3. Have you made any recent changes to your computer and/or its connection to the Internet? Please be as specific as possible?
    4. How are you connecting to the Internet? Do you do any connection sharing or use a home network? Router/hub/switch? What kind? Have your tried bypassing them just for troubleshooting? What was the result? Where are you connecting from(home/school/office)?
    5. What Operating System are your running? 98, XP, 2000 Professional, Vista?
    6. What have you tried to remedy the problem?

Please read the full instructions below, and post the following files, be advised you may need to break these up and reply to yourself to get all this information posted.

    DxDiag.txt file
    MSinfo.txt file
    VGclient.txt file
    VGclient.ini file

You can obtain your "VGclient.txt" from your Vanguard directory (the default location is "C:/Program Files/Sony/Vanguard"). The "VGclient.ini" file can be found under "C:/Program Files/Sony/Vanguard/Bin"

To create the DxDiag.txt and MSinfo.txt, please do the following:

    1. Run DXDIAG.EXE from your Start menu (click Start, Run..., then type "dxdiag" and hit Enter)
    2. Click the "Save all Information" button, located at the bottom of the program window
    3. Save the file as "dxdiag.txt"
    4. Click on the "More Help" tab on the Direct X Diagnostic Tool and then Msinfo.
    5. Click on the "File" menu and choose "Export..."
    6. Save the file as a Text Document and name it "MSinfo.txt"

The Msinfo File is huge and we are not going to need a lot of the info in it so please post the following sections:

    1. Copy and paste from [System Summary] to [DMA].
    2. Copy and paste from [IRQs] to [Memory].
    3. Copy and paste from [Running Tasks] to [Loaded Modules].
4.Copy and paste from [Services] to [Program Groups].
5.Copy and paste from [Startup Programs] to [Ole Registration ].
6.Copy and paste from [Windows Error Reporting ] to [Internet Settings].

Now this may not seem to make a lot of sense at times, especially if you are posting about an issue that has been acknowledged as bug on our end, but the data will help the developers find what needs to be fixed on our end and more importantly as we get those issues resolved we can offer suggestions for changes you can make on your systems that may help.
