Any Way To Permanently Change Cache?

    So at some point in the past there was a nifty way of giving Vanguard a large cache by changing the sysconfig file. The problem is it over writes this file at launch. There is a clunky workaround detailed nicely at the Telon Project but wonder if there is a more straight forward way of doing this?

    [Engine.GameEngine]
    CacheSizeMegs=32

    Sony if you are listening, do you realize outrageously how SMALL this is? A watch today has more memory. After six years don't you think average gamer computers would have enough extra memory to bump this to 256 or even 512?

    I am looking for ways to increase the performance of the game and this seems like an absolute no brainer?!?

    Edit: For those interested in how to get this to work right, go to: http://www.thetelonproject.com/sysconfig-ini

    I tried this at home tonight and it is a MIRACLE!! My games are running far smoother. To be honest I had a bit of trouble setting up the batch file but I got it to work and it is literally NIGHT and DAY!

    Sony why aren't you hardcoding this change into every download?

    I will continue to test this but it seems incredible.
