For anyone out there that still collect data for their website etc, VGBards' forum is about to close. The forum has been around since before VG launched and has a wealth of info on it so people may want to grab as much as possible before it's goes to cyberspace heaven.
I don't know a lot about bards, but I did grab some of the pages that had a lot of the detail on them.

vgbards wasn't all that active prior to its close and some of the info was a bit outdated. the most relivant things you could find there was list of locations for instrument drops (strung moss lute in the itchitaka chunk off a named treant) bard rest from RI (which may or may not be trivial loot coded, which is a HORRIBLE thing for the level 50 spell drops), bard mez from ToT, some macro help which you can get in game or from guild forums or here and the most important bit of information bards should learn... mellarein's anthem of war (melody) and mellarein's requium of war (chorus) do not stack!
Yeah - was mostly interesed in the macro posts I remember being there from when I was last in Telon back in mid 09.
Is there any other page with bard's songs and/or locations listed? I posted a while ago several corrections on their data such as this or this Is there any website where those information are right in place? Best
there are actually several posts on this forum that contain all the information about the usefull bard drops. basically the end game lutes, the recorder off lord fal, and various masks. it also has info on drum drops but those are useless now.
