    Thanks Enkur!

My daughter spilled near boiling water on the lower half of her body. She has second degree burns. They transferred her to a hospital that has a great burn unit, and she is now out of the hospital.

We had a couple scary days, but the doctors say she will heal up fine, and my daughter says the pain is almost gone.

Hallo Telonites and HEG fans. Yes we are still around! Real Life has caught up with a few of us this week, so pardon our lack of posting recently. However the Saturday events still roll on.

This Saturday the HEG decide to investigate a beached ship not far from the city of Lomshir on the Qalian continent. Surely you all been in Telon long enough to hear the tale of the Dark Lady of the Sea. The poor souls on that ship wreck had to be removed. While searching for the Water Diamond we discovered a secret about this ship, hidden deep within it's hull. The HEG did not hesitate and went forth into the breach. After all this is what exploring is all about! We spoke to a Ghost Captain who asked for our help in avenging his now undead crew's restless souls.

The second part of our evening takes place a short way up the road at the Haekemesha Excavation which is inside a cliff and oh yeah there are evil Gnomes inside as well as Qalian Humans. Sound familiar? Karrus Fahrel, maybe? Anyway we come across one excavator who told us his tale of woa. Something about giant scorpion killing a group of excavators in their sleep and he wanted revenge. By now you the HEG pretty well enough that we weren't going to turn down the chance at besting a giant scorpion. Yet deep within this dark scorpion ridden, elemental infested, undead plagued, evil gnome infested cavern we came across the head excavator, a Qualian women. She asked us to retrieve her research notes. Figure she would have wanted an escort out of there, but to each is own. We find the notes and a larger than normal elemental tried to take the HEG by surprise but we were having none of that.

Twas another fun night for the HEG. Another chapter to add to it's growing legacy in Telon. I know I left out some details, but thats called a teaser folks... you have to read Morty's blog later in the week...(Que up Paul Harvey voice) FOR THE REST OF THE STORY.

    ;):D:p

Once again I am late with this weeks Journal Entry ... please forgive me.

I do think this one is worth the wait. Almost all the images were taken by Waylian and they are AWESOME! The writing could use some help, but I still hope you enjoy the read.

    Read Journal Entry 17

I especially want to thank all the members of the HEG. You guys make this day each week awesome. I know I am absent much of the week as far as communication ... because the week is generally busy, but I do enjoy our time together, and I have NEVER been a part of something I have enjoyed as much as our Halfling Explorer Group.

I would like to echo your words here Morty. We do have a lot of fun, even when we get tired. Tis a shame we all came together just before the announcement and did not meet up months or even years earlier. Indeed it has been a true pleasure to play Vanguard with all the HEG members. I would have looked forward to the day when we all reached level 50 and purchased our Soldier Ant Mounts along with sporting our Rindol Field City Faction Armor. And yet, even after the announcement was made we still decided to carry on as if we had no set time table. The formation of the group at its core was about exploring and having fun. With that said, it has been a lot of fun exploring with all the members of the HEG.

    :D

P.S. Another good write up Morty, thanks for putting the journal entry together.

Ding Dong ... the Dark Witch is Dead!

New Journal Entry. We had an odd week without Waylian, but the adventure was still pretty good.

We also ran into some very tough fights, and had a blast. I hope you enjoy this weeks installment of the Halfling Explorer Group's Journal Entry.

Journal Entry 18 for your reading pleasure ...

    (I hope)

The Lost Journal Entry is available now.

I didn't post anything for Journal Entry 16, because of a LOT of real life problems, but thankfully Waylian had conducted some HEG adventuring that same week and wrote a Journal Entry.

In JE 17 I mentioned that there was a lost issue out there ... LOL, and Waylian has found it!

Journal Entry 16 (The Lost Entry)

Long Live the HEG! (oh and I hope you enjoy the read)

Have a great Holiday weekend to the members of the HEG. Be safe and enjoy the time off from work.

Greetings HEG fans! This week the HEG ventured to Skawlra Rock to work on the Hunter's League Quests. We did not have a full group this holiday weekend, but we had enough to accomplish our missions. We battled Lizardmen, Fairys, Turtles and Sappers. We collected a few items along the way and set some traps as well. We had a few mishaps here and there. The turtles seemed to enjoy Bandobras boots and Bullo had a friendly Sapper flapping his wings over him as he lied on the ground in the sweltering heat, keeping him cool. Waylian was seen a few times swatting at the Sappers then running away and jumping of the rocks into the water below. Yebral joined us in the fairy cave and was immediately swarmed by fairys. It was another great Saturday Night which ended with another round of fellowship at the campfire. Cheers to you, my adventuring partners for another night of fun, HEG style.

Hello HEG fans! This past Saturday the HEG decided to investigate the remains of Castle Landsview. These remains can be seen from the hillsides of the Coastal Graveyard. However, a rough opening in the cracked and stony floor will lead down to the cellars and dungeons of the ruin. The Lost Souls of Thestra, as well as the ghosts of many fallen Gulgrethor Orcs haunt the castle. Castle Landsview was one of three castles that guarded the lands in this region of Thestra; Trengal Keep and Cairnworth Hall were the other two. All three have fallen into ruin, and all three are haunted by the past. The HEG battled many of Orc Spectres throughout the night. Yebral was busy all night with crowd control but still managed to down a few ales during the chaos. Bandobra provided spot on heals and had to feign death a few times, there were a few times no one believed he was dead, especially the Orc Spectres. Morty fought galantly as ever tossing a Paladin heal in here and there. Waylian found it tough to stun these Spectres but commenced with the backstabbing with each encounter. The HEG hit a few rough spots but quickly regrouped and devised a winning strategy, as always. Morty should be filling in all the details later this week with the Journal Post.

Here ya go ... Journal Entry 21.

It was a fun adventure, and fun to write. We ended up exploring the Remains of Castle Landsview this last Saturday. It wasn't on our list to do, but since we had three less HEG members we decided to go "off the plan".

    Journal Entry 21

I am super glad we did, and we will be going back this coming Saturday with Bullo in tow this time.

    I hope you enjoy.

Well Done Paladin! Looking forward to this week's run as well. Should be fun. Besides Bullo hopefully Ilyus can join in the fun too.

Hola HEG fans! Another Saturday night of fun was had, HEG style that is, when we returned to Castle Landsview to take care of some unfinished business. Boy howdy did the HEG really mean business this time. Last week Yebral, Morty, Bandobra and Waylian struck out to investigate this haunted castle that now lay in ruin. We four, kept our vow to return but this time.... we had an addition to our group this week, BULLO was back. Bullo had some issues with his gear last week and couldn't join the group but we were glad he was back this week to partake in the evening of fun. All was going well at the beginning but then someone bumped into Yebral, spilling some of his ale. He let out a large shriek causing one of the Gulgrethor Orc Spectre's to flee. That was good for a moment...till the spectre came back with the entire group of spectres in the next room which lead to total wipe. You can't have a HEG night without at least one wipe. It's in the Guild's bylaws. So upon our immediate return we rolled through like a tornado. We had some WCW moments during the night. We found a Warlock, a Chieftan and a Warlord in a room at the end of a corridor and dispatched them with ease. It was a handicap match as those three against five HEG members really wasn't a contest. The other WCW moment came when we were waiting on respawns. You know we been told all our lives not to horseplay around. We have all heard it before. "It's all fun and games till someone gets hurt." Well Yebral and his brother began playing around and it ended up with Yebral being choked slammed through a table. We have pics, they be in the journal entry. We never listen do we? Moving on we triggered the final event and completed it. I'll leave those details for Morty's Journal Entry.

Since Morty was the only one without a complete set of Hunter's League armor, we decided to head back to Skawlra Rock to finish off his set. This was done with great ease. We took out the turtles, sappers, lizardman and the Atoll Faries to get Morty what he needed. Bullo was getting braver with each pull rounding up as many foes as possible. He slowed down at the turltes and sappers though. you know due to the incident two weeks back. Along the way we agreed to level up and do the final quest of the Hunter's League which yielded a very nice weapon for each of us. We followed Yebral around the backside of the rock. He said there was a path. Ummm there was no path, we scurried in a zig zag pattern down the rocks then took a big leap of faith to the ground below (was a piece of cake, with lev on.). We battled gigantic birds with huge claws. Collecting the masks we summoned the boss. We knew we were in for a tough battle. He summoned Guardians to his side as we tried to burn him down. This battle raged on for a bit. In the end the HEG was successful but we each paid a dear price for it. Now you will have to wait for Morty's blog, for the rest of the story...............................

Well hello all ... Here is this weeks Journal Entry. It's a day late, but I hope it will be worth your wait.

This week the Journal Entry will have two parts because we ended up breaking the night up into two separate places as Enkur pointed out in the post above this one.

Here is the first part ....

    Journal Entry 22-A

    Enjoy!

Hello all! Today's journal entry is a second parter for this last Saturday.

The second part of our Saturday was spent in Skawlra Rock doing Hunter's League Quests. We had a good time, died a few times, and had a lot of fun joking about the turtles.

    Journal Entry 22-B

I hope you all enjoy the read, and when you are done, there is a link at the bottom of the entry that points you to screenshots. A bunch were taken by Waylian and are pretty awesome!

I thought I recognized one of those Skawlra. At first I couldn't put my finger on it. Then it came to me, that Skawlra was Witchy Poo's evil sidekick from back in the day on the TV show HR Puff N Stuff. :D For those young and younger HEG fans you'll have to Google it.

Greetings Heg Fans from Skrilen Point! This Saturday the HEG went to investigate the Cyclops Tower, east of Skrilen Point. A unique little isle, square in shape with stone walls around the edges. In the middle of the isle stood a huge stone tower. So being inquisitive Halflings we decided to explore this unique place. The place was crawling with Cyclops. Cyclops on this isle, apparently come in three sizes, large, extra large and Super Size (like the Archpriest we fought in the top of the tower). Also within this island's walls were Living Flames that glided across the earth. The were what appeared to be low level storms clouds within the structure. We found out quickly they had a mind of their own and really didn't like Halflings. All in all it was a fun little expedition, which didn't take long for the HEG emerge victorious.

From there we decided to head out to the Kojan Isles and check out some rumors about a place called The Tomb of Lord Tsang. We talked with the Master at the rift outpost there. He gave us a quest, which involved completing three other quests, which involved completing other quests to complete each of them. If you are dizzy from reading that last sentence, take a moment then re-read. :) After completing those quests we were ready to enter the tomb. Lord Tsang was one of the most powerful users of Jin to ever have lived. During his time, the Jin Masters were very powerful indeed, and understood Jin like none of this day. When Lord Tsang died, a tomb was erected in his honor, in which Lord Tsang was laid to rest. Many weapons of his generals were also put on display there as well. Recently adventurers have need to learn more about the ancient powers of Jin lost when the Masters such as Lord Tsang passed from Telon. The Ulvari must be defeated, but before this can happen, adventurers must better learn how to use Jin. The Tomb holds many secrets of Jin, but it will not be an easy task to learn these secrets and leave the Tomb alive, much less get into the Tomb in the first place. Bullo lead the way tanking everything in sight from Skeletons to Constructs. Yebral used his Guardian (really a ballerina as it kept spinning round and round.) for a bit as it got annoying twirling all the time. I imagine it made the room appear as if it was spinning to Yebral. He knows that doesn't happen after just a few tankards of ale. We took on a few Named opponents while obtaining quests for our weapons. Collecting symbols didn't take all that long but before we knew it, it was time to call it a night. We will be back next Saturday to finish those quests and obtain our mighty (and shiny) new weapons from the tomb.

As for the rest of the story........ you already know the deal. You'll have to wait till Morty posts the details in the HEG journal later this week.
