Can I somehow apply Torment (instant cast and stays on the mob) just once, and then only do Bloodspike?

    /cast "Torment II"
    /cast "Bloodspike II"

Yes, until the refresh is up on torment, then torment will cast again instead of bloodspike. May get Torment recasting before it has run it's full course and waste energy.

I will throw out an old ranger one.

My buddy who started a new Ranger kept whining about running out of arrows. (Can't imagine what he would have done before they increased build quantity from 50 to 250).

I told him I used a simple macro in my bad old Ranger days that helped keep me fully stocked.

If you have an assist macro key, just adjust it to below. Or add the first two lines to whatever other macro you use to attack with.

    /forage
    /lootall
    /assist xxx

Basically every time you assist the tank, you forage. Now he has no problems with having enough supplies.

    Sorry to re-bring up Marco's
I've been meaning to make my end game paladin macros, and a few months ago had a sweet write up or post somewhere where it listed really good macros.. Nd for the life of me I cannot remember where...
If you have a really good hate macro, virtue burn macro, and crit macros , or even just a link to a page hat offers it, it would be greatly appreciated . Thank you

    Related question-
For some of my macros- heals, cc, etc- I want to announce the action to the group- "healing jimbo" or "don't break the mez"
I've got the basic /groupsay figured out, but have noticed others using colored text to make name or spell really stand out. What's the mechanic for coloring the text?
Similarly, is it possible to label the target with an icon as part of the macro (ie macro that the target of your sleep spell has the shamrock icon put on)- is this possible and, if so, what is the mechanic or please post a link to the thread- I thought I saw both these topics on telon project/ Telonica, but haven't been able to find again :(
    Thanks,

    To color message :
    /group <color=>message</color=>

Available colors are : Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, White, Black, Brown, Orange, Cyan, Purple, Silver, Gold, Highlight

However i would advise against doing so, as overwriting people's color scheme might make your message going unnoticed.

Ty for the mechanic on adding color and agree that doing so runs the risk of disappearing- was thinking more of only coloring target and/or spell name, but you raise an interesting concern-

Anyone have any thoughts re: macroing the icon? Is it possible?
    Thx

Yes, you can add the mob's name like this:

    /gsay Pulling <red=><highlight=><<%TO>>

This will say in group, in the color red, "Pulling Crowned Cockatrice" or whatever it is you have as your offensive target.

The icon I believe you are speaking of can only be added by a group/raid leader if I'm not mistaken
  12. Tanstaafl Member

I think you're correct- was just hoping I'd overlooked some 'secret knowledge'- as I'm getting older and my eyesight is going, every little bit helps and being able to plaster icons all over ....

Throwing this out there for new guys like me.

There is no /mount macro, there is a /dismount though, use the /itemuse "Mount Name"

When ever I try to chain abilities the skill will fire off but then I get a message "Not enough Jin" for what I am guessing is the next ability in my macro. Here is the macro I was testing
    /cast "Void Hand II"
    /cast "Inner Light I"
Do I need to place "pause" commands after every action?
  15. Dunk Member

I am not familiar with their powers so I can’t help with a disciple macro, but there is no way to introduce a pause in a macro.
  16. Tyber New Member

Dang. Inner light needs 1 Jin point to cast. Void Hand generates 1 Jin point. Disciples have various effects that require a specific combo of actions to proc.
