Games within a Game?

  1. Smed mentioned this brilliant idea years ago. He didn't have very many good ideas let alone brilliant ones but this is one thing that I was hoping would come to fruition.

Have y'all given any thought to making better use of taverns and inns by incorporating games of chance? The way I see it you could use diplomacy's or crafting's turn-based system as the backbone for these games. Not to say you wouldn't find it a challenge coding something like this but it's an easier step going from turn-based to turn-based rather than real-time to turn-based.

Conceptually you could create interactive objects that spawn dialogue boxes to join games. Just don't know how your code works to limit the number of participants and how to handle disconnects.

    Keep up the good work.

    Cheers!
  2. You could use your station cash to try and win more station cash.
  3. EQ had this years ago in a cassino type place. You could win some nice stuff if you got a gold ticket as I remember. Not sure if it still exsists . I used to play it sometimes. I like the idea really. I always thought they should have put it in High Pass Hold though.
  4. Gambling would be great
