This is more important than tails - I'd be willing to pay extra for access to the original character look options - you could make truly diabolical looking Dark Elves.
  2. I just want them to have digitigrade legs. Kurashasa are okay, they look like the mythical beasts they are named after, Raki are fine. Vulmane should look like some kind of were-beast imho.
Tails too, but the legs are cooler to me :p

I don't think it was just the massive amount of rendering that was needed for that, it was also how badly it was implemented. No offense to the original Sigil team but Sony's people are better at this kind of thing and they saved as much customization as possible. I'd love to have that level of depth in character creation but there is a reason that no game short of, maybe, Aion has that level of customization. More would be nice, tho.
Think they'll be fixing the lag issues first tho. Re-writing the entire section of the game that involves character creation would be a MAJOR undertaking and that's what it would take. They can't use the old version because of how badly it was done to begin with, most likely. Sad, but it is what it is.

That would mean remodelling all the boots ingame.. definitely not gonna happen.
  5. Tails for Kurashasa, Vulmane, and Raki would be great if possible. I don't even mind if they clip through capes like in other games (though anything that would allow them not to would be wonderful).

However, the thing I hate most right now is the NPC Vulmane voice. Permanent frog in the throat? Maybe get the ghostclaws to fix their asthma. Close second are the PC voices for both the Vulmane and Kurashasa. I know they're silly and funny and I can't help but laugh at how much tougher the male Raki PC voice is compared to the larger animal people, but I'm a bit sick of my party members thinking I'm coughing up a lung whenever I use certain skills or socials. (Sadly, I haven't heard about new voice actors being hired, so I'm prepared to settle for tails in lieu of new voices.)

On second thought, maybe the Raki don't need tails. They're already too awesome without them.
  6. hmm.. I think the hoarse voice of the Vulmanes fits them rather nicely. Ever heard a real wolf growling?
Same with the rough and bassy Kurashasa voice. I'd be rather annoyed if they had more human-like voices instead.
One thing that always gets me laughing is the combat sounds of the female Kurashasa.. like fighting house cats. Reducing the sample about 50% in speed would bring it down an octave to a more realistic tone for tigers, and match their talking voice better.

Well actually, since there is no armor covering their tails, and all those blades always flying around, the simple fact is that all tails have been lopped off a long time ago! Having no tail is the sign of a true warrior, and having a tail would brand them as a coward who would not stand and fight.
Just say NO to tails! LOL

Vulmanes already have an adult initiation ritual.. and it involves painting rocks. Not quite the gory event you are aiming for. (on a completely unrelated side note.. I wish some of our human "races" would also rather paint rocks instead of cutting body parts off their young ones...)

bah, you're just envious because you'll never grow one... :p
perhaps we can at least ask that your Orc gets some horns? that'd fit nicely..
  9. Actually, my Orc already has horns, but they're the PotA kind.
Come to think of it, he already has a tail too--it is big and green and split down the middle!!

Orcs with tails.. *shudder* I don't think anyone asked for THAT..
  11. can't let this thread go to rot now, can we? =^.^=
  12. We use to have tails, but once we became bipedal we no longer needed them. Evolution is true, even in vanguard.

Tails would be nice, though.. if optional
  13. I agree with the above. Both about no longer needing tails, and if the furry lovers absolutely must have them, then to have them be an option. I do not want to have a tail.
