Went to change characters and the server is now down--c'mon you guys, don't shut us down early! Still had an hour to gather more screenshots for posterity!
I can't believe they shut down the servers 1 hour early. I'm so glad I logged in yesterday for screenshots but I wanted to be there when it went down. What a major slap in the face to the players.

What the ACTUAL ****??! I took a half day off work to be here for the last hour of the game. There should be 45 minutes left until sunset. It really goes to show that they don't give damn about the players.
Vanguard went out same way it went in.... Incomplete and way too early. See you all on the flip side.
I just got home from work and wanted to log on for the end of the world, and a big screw you from Sony.
I was logged in with my main and wanted to relog another of my beloved characters; "Telon is down". Oh well, at least I got some screenshots in. Was nice knowing you, Vanguard. :'(
well phooey, I was one of the First Exemplars on my server and wanted to play a few more diplomacy rounds before the sunset and put my kid down to bed and they went off early booo
Yeah down an hour early. Shouldn't be a surprise I guess. I had a gut feeling this kind of thing would happen. SOE's treatment of VG players has always been one of broken promises. That minute by minute counter that started during the last hour got me to thinking how they just can't wait to pull the plug on this. Should have known it was a gamble at that point to try and change characters one more time. It was fun folks while it lasted. See you around in other worlds.
True lol, i remember the cluster F the lsat night of Beta when they gave us all boats to sail in. it was so laggy the screen wouldn't move and they just shut it off until it went live lol
Had this night scheduled on the calendar for months, jetted home from work to get on an hour before shutdown, and no go. bummer.
