  1. I mean what sense does it make that the warrior's hate from the damage over time exceeds the "caster" tank in the game?
  2. I have always felt that the Dread Knight should have more spells than they do now, and better spells, but then I played a Shadowknight in EQ1 for years.
    Let's face it--the way things stand now, a DK would be crazy to spend a global cooldown on a spell like Torture or Incantation of Hate when they can gain far more aggro from a Soul Wrack/Ruin chain, which is up more often than not. Now I really only use these spells on pulling or during Furious when I can't melee.
    Cull III is way beyond worthless by the time you are of a level to get it. With only 900 damage returned as healing, and a 2 second cast time, I can take up to 10X that damage by the time I cast it. I don't even bother getting the spell anymore on my DK alts. (Yes, I have more than three DKs--figure I like the class a bit? LOL)
    Ancient Word and Bane are both underpowered considering the long cooldown, and with Bane, the DC5 requirement to cast. I always considered Ancient Word to be reminiscent of the Shadowknight's Harm Touch, but is woefully lacking in the comparison.
    DKs should have more DoTs--not just hate DoTs but damage DoTs that are strong enough to be meaningful. The damage done by Torture and Incantation of Hate is pitiful.
    Also, it would be really nice if we had a more precise description of what Almagus Deathbeam really does, and the range it can be used as well. It REALLY needs an icon that can be seen when Almagus is 'satiated' and when the skill is actually used and in effect. If it currently has one, it must be buried deeply in cast buffs bar, as I have yet to find one.

There actually is a buff up when it is active, it's purple and has a 16 second countdown. It shows up in the short duration buff bar.
    I would like to know how quickly it can become satiated again after it is used. During Shendu the message comes up so often but I always hold it in reserve for the Wyrm at the end of the fight.

  6. I would be fine with either a 5 minute refresh on HI or maybe even a 60 second duration. 10 minute base refresh for 30 secs is just too long.
    Our hate chain is worthless when buffed (compare to a hate ability that increases you hate mod). Doesn't add enough Hate to be more valuable than Wrack/Ruin damage.
    Torture and Incantation of Hate are again a waste of time (don't do enough damage to be of any use honestly). Unmititgated maybe on IoH at least. Increase Hate portion on Torture.
    Cull is again a waste, make it unmitigated or lose the heal portion and make it buff DK (endu regen that stacks/increase hate generation/next three attacks auto crit).
    Would be nice for Arithamine's Charge to get a boost, since it would only work when actually MT should not disrupt balance (add hate component maybe).
    Weapon shield in all stances as long as wielding a 2h.
    Fix our pet. Have to resummon and reset everytime and one ability bugs the rest (forget the name).
    Our fear ability is pretty much useless, maybe and aoe stun? Long refresh, but it would allow you to gain aggro on multiple mobs.
