Druid Changes are on Test Server

  1. Please log onto the server and post feedback with the changes. I would really appreciate DPS numbers from Live-Test to make sure that damage is tuned correctly.
    I think I got all of the changed from the other Thread. I will review it again when I get into the Office on Monday to make sure.
    Full Changes are as followed:
    Three Stances have been added for the druid class. These stances are granted at level 10.

    Heirophant's Blessing
    Increases the effectiveness of Lighting Strike, Wild Growth ,Venomous Thorns, Piercing Roots, Solar Flare, Nature's Wraith, and Thunderclap by 25% these abilities also have a 50% chance to generate 1 Phenomena point when cast.

    Lunarian Ire
    Increases the damage done by Call Lightning, Deadly Swarm, Earthquake, Ire, and Starfall by 20%.

    Okeli's Guise
    Increases the effectiveness of Life Stream, Restore, Sooth, and Soothing Rain by 20%. Also Regenerates 1 Phenomena point every 10 seconds.

    Stances can be changed once every 10 seconds.

    Ability Changes
    Base damage for the following spells have been lowered
    Call Lightning, Deadly Swarm, Earthquake, Ire, and Starfall.

    The ability Heirophant's Blessing has been renamed Heirophant's Boon. This ability will also now regenerate 15 Phenomena points instead of 60 but be useable every 5 minutes instead of every 10.
    Heirophant's Boon has been removed.

    Three new ranks of Lightning Strike have been added one at level 30, 36, and 42. In addition Greater Lightning Strike is also availible at level 50
    The Druid epic now costs 5PP from 14PP

    I think there might be a bug with the stances
    When in test I see the triple icon for the three stances but Hierophant's Blessing and Lunarian Ire are both called "Lunarian Ire"
    To confuse things when I click on what should be "Lunarian Ire" I cannot get myself into that stance. Also cannot use a macro to do it.
    /setcombatform "Lunarian Ire" appears to put me into "Hierophants"
    I did a /copy when you put this thread up (soon after) can you please have a look at this?
    I have some testing ready to go as soon as I can use the stances properly
  6. Seems like the numbers will be skewed between live and test if any of the druids testing have the lorestone passives on live. The lorestone passives still dont seem to be applying on my character, unless in the last round of copies this was fixed and I missed it. I noticed that Stabbas is in Mekalia, but for whatever reason the lorestone passives arent in my spellbook on test.
  7. The Heirophant's Blessing stance is working but it is showing as Lunarian Ire on the gem. The Lunarian Ire stance isnt working. More then likely it is because Heirophants is reading as Lunarian Ire in its discription. Okeli's Guise is working fine as well. So what should be Blessing works but shows as Ire. What shows as ire and should be ire does not and Okeli is fine.
  8. I have been testing my Druid quite a bit on the test server and am liking these changes a lot.
    Please take into consideration the live server passive buffs and adjust accordingly, I really like my Druid but I do not want to see it being the next Over Powered Sorc replacement which is the direction it is heading.
    These tweaks alone show very good dps increase but anymore will start to throw the class balance off a lot. I was pushing Dps numbers that my Rogue on the Live server is able to get, which is bordering OP...since a Druid has so much utility with healing, mezz and so on.
    I was able to improve my Dps with clickies and civic/raid buffs by at least 2.4k with these changes (over what my Druid on Live server can do now - with the exact same testing method) and I was being lazy with my rotations on test..., anymore and I think it will be massive overkill for the class and attract unwanted attention when it goes live.
    You have done a fantastic job Wigin and I applaud your interaction with the Druid players but please keep in mind the big increase we will get when pushed to live, especially the Lore Stone passive buffs that ignore all caps.

  11. Have there been additional changes to the stances? The Heirophant's stance tooltip now reads something vague like "You do more damage but your spells cost more mana" and no longer says anything about phenom regen. It is still not possible to shift to Lunarian Ire stance.
  12. Okiel's Guise had no effect on you because you are too low level. You must be at least level 40. The other stance problems are there for a level 16 test Druid. Just there to tease the low level Druids?
    When Lunarian Ire is selected the Heirophant's Blessing stance is highlighted and both say Lunarian Ire. Also not seeing anything in the buffs windows for you stance. While in Heirophant's Blessing stance, Lunarian Ire stance can not be selected.
    I wanted to check out the shaman changes on test and they were not there at the time of this post.
  13. I am trying to get everything fixed for the Druid changes on Test server right now. Should all be there by the end of the day. I will post again once everything is there.

  15. There is something extra going on with the Druid changes that I will have to spend tomorrow figuring out. Sorry that these didn't make it to Test today.

  17. Ok so update on the Druid changes. There was a technical problem that was causing the Druid Revamp content to not get pushed to Test server correctly. With the help of Moorgard and Tloch14 we were able to find the problem and fix the issue so there shouldn't be any more problems with getting the Druid revamp to test server consistently and I can stop pulling out my hair.
    That being said right now there is balance testing being done on COB but as soon as that is finished we can kick off a build and have working Druid changes on the Test Server hopefully tonight.

  19. Tomorrow morning we should be able to run a build and get everything 100%. I accidentally made a bug myself that caused two of the stances to not get granted and I just fixed it. I will post an update after the build completes and I have a chance to run some sanity tests.

    Sorry this has been such a long and drawn out process.
  20. Please take all the time you need to get it right. We want to keep the new kids around this time. Some of us have been here for 5 years and have the patience to wait a few more hours.
