Just started my monk back up (level 45) and was wondering opinions about soloing drunken vs dragon. I am currently dragon and seem to solo 3 dots fairly easy, but trouble with 4 dots. The mitigation and refresh timer of drunken is appealing, but i dont want to change over and find it weaker soloing.
I'm drunken (sounds funny lol) not quite to 40, I've not done any 4 dots yet, but it does seem I end most bouts with plenty of hlth - I realize 4 dots are quite a bit tougher, just not run into any within my lvl range yet (32) Also you may want to chk this thread: https://forums.station.sony.com/vg/index.php?threads/monk-fighting-styles.70140/
Yah, just haven't go to river palace yet - still working Cragwind and avoiding lord Bamph or whatever his roaming name is - no clue why this mob is here, he doesn't drop squat!!! Also, I just changed to Dragon style to see how it goes - at this level, I'm noticing that my Drunken style seems to have better survivability than the dragon. I'm two boxing with a blood mage of equal lvl and with drunken style I heal a whole lot less than the dragon style.
My monk, 46, is Dragon... I went dragon cause sounded cooler, and every monk n game at the I've was drunken hehe. I really enjoy him, but I don't know the differences... Planning on having him hit 50 this week tho.. And test him out a bit more. Anyone have any tips or macros for a dragon monk?
