  1. Players is taking up to a week to update profiles. It shows one of my characters as level 10 ( dinged on 11/01 ) and is currently 15. The blog shows that he leveled to 15 on 11/03 yet the profile has not changed. On release I thought it updated daily and no longer than 2 days. Now you have way less subscribers yet it is taking longer.
  2. Okay earlier I couldn't get on to our guildsite to work on it.

    Now I can get on it...
    Then I noticed dead picture placeholder for all the pictures we have in the front page thumbnails from our Gallery section.
    I go to our Image Managment section and Lo and Behold... EVERY SINGLE IMAGE is gone from our site, out of four different Catagories. I am the only one who has access to this section.

    Is there some problem? If there is... Couldn't you annouce it in the Announcement section? If not, that can you address my problem.

  3. My primary character, Lynora (characterId=47244647977) has not appeared on VGPlayers since June. I've submitted about 3 tickets on it from June to August. The last one submitted was escalated to the Dev team in August and that's where it ended. I've asked for updates on it in September, October and about 10 minutes ago. Each time I talk with someone in webchat, I'm told the last update was in August and the Dev Team have not updated it any further. I don't understand the deal on this. What do I have to do to get this working?
    My Reference # is 071116-000595.
    Can someone please look into this problem and get it fixed for me?

    There are so many errors its not worth even trying to list them but I will start with a few that might globally fix others on the list.
    Guild Leader characters that are not in the guild for example... Harya, Mieze, Schur. They naver have been in the guild to my knowledge and definitely are not now. Thy are also not my characters and I am the only guild leader ? Hope the info helps.
    Many other issues such as promotions and dem0otions not happening on this page for many weeks and the fact that this page shows a huge amount of payers who are not in the guild. It even comically showed one person who was never in our guild but joined us as he though it was fate when he saw himself listed in the guild he wasn't in...

    Since there is a complete lack of useful guild tools I used to rely heavily on this for inactive players and such so any fixes would be a huge help.
  5. It appears that the information has not been updated on vgplayers for a day or so. Today is Nov 19th and when I go to my guild listing, not one of the players in the guild played the 18th or the 17th. Odd since my guild is about 100 players and the 17th was Saturday and 18th being Sunday.
    Perhaps the staff decided to take any early Thanksgiving break.

    Customprofile
    Most of the stats on my character has never updated nor changed. i.e. NPC's Killed 683. I am a level 45. Just most every stat does not update or if it does update the numbers are wrong.
    Also I have a character on my VGPlayers.com profile named "Fomer" that has been there since day one. I have never had this character nor created it. I have /petitioned and send emails to tech support and I keep getting told they can not delete it, come on please fix it.
  7. Okay lets try this form..... slightly altered.

    Issue 1. Problem with VGplayers "IN the works" has not been updated, the threads offer no explation, and no time table, it is still talking about UPDATE 2.
    Issue 2. There is a Problem with Many of threads in these Technical forums not being answered. No answers considering the quantity of requests for answers and the myriad of complaints.
    Issue 3. A problem with pictures on many peoples guildsites being purged. further problems are that requests for information have yielded no explanation. Questions in the forums asked about this, and nothing was said about it. questions like. Is it still going to happen. Will they be restored. Questions about should we still use this function, as well as other functions we have paid for as part of our SUBSCRIPTION are not being answered.

    Issue 4. A problem with The Rosters and info on the Websites are not being updated. Information obtained through petition says, we are working on it, problem with that, is that it has been said for months. Furthur problem is there have been requests for more information requested, and nothing has been forthcoming. Requests for a timetable have gone unaswered.
    Issue 5. Problem with web team. Is there a Web Team anymore? This question has not been addressed. The Reason questions like this are being asked is as far as we can see there hasn't been any responses regarding many of these issues for a long time now.
    Issue 6. Problems with Ellyra sending me a PM that says This isn't the forum to ask these questions, or state these problems. "paraphrased" The above information is website feedback. These subjects are about the website, they describe the problem, and problems associated with the apparant lack of activity regarding those problems.
    Issue 7. Problem for SOE that needs to be addressed. These problems create a lot of negative feelings with your paying playerbase. Including myself. Causing many to consider quiting the game altogether, and many just quiting.

    - I've been leader of my guild for 3 months now. Still shows me as "Member" when I post in forums here. In the VG players site, the old leader is still listed.
    - Many many of my members are listed as "Recruits" when they have been members (and some are officers) since May.

    Look forward to seeing all of this fixed, it's been extremely annoying :p
  9. The images directory for the guild websites hosted at vgsohguilds.com up and vanished a few weeks ago. Now in the admin areas of the websites there are sections you cannot remove because there are no pics in them anymore so you have duplicate areas in site admin making it more difficult to manage and update the guild websites. Allowing us to remove the dead directories or restoring the deleted images, either would work.

    On the personal VGPlayers the player stats for almost everything is still borked after all this time, number of kills, number of deaths, number of crafted items, diplomacy, etc, etc, etc.
  10. The problem with VGPlayers is you have to pay for it. For all the problems people are suffering from, it should be FREE.

Vanguard players Guild Profiles and Character profiles..Not updating...Remove several members from our guild months ago and they still show as members of our guild...I am the original SCE Guild leader and it still shows me as a Solder. Is there any way to reset this to show currently whats going on in our guild..I have new members very confused and its creating problems..Plus the stats are still showing -564 or whatever...I pay monthly for this and its not working correctly...Please respond..Here is the link to our Guild lineup...Thanks in advance

  13. I agree. Remove all the wacky charges for trivial technologies. It gets too complicated and frustrating to see "Sorry, but you must have the super 2.0 advanced media viewfinder to view your chestplate."

  16. It's good your charging for the service and you know it doesn't work.
  17. VG Players will never work. I don't know why you people bother paying for it. EQ2 Players has not worked for well over 2 years. And yet people still pay for that service. So if you have a bunch of people paying for features that have never worked and never will, why fix anything? Heres what you do, cancel all your VG Players services, delete the shortcut from your browser, and never go back there.

    However if you continue to pay for something that has never worked and never will work, well then you deserve to get ripped off. It's as simple as that. I mean come on now, it's been year now and your still paying? lol, ok, that makes a lot of sense. Cancel it.
  18. Any word on when vgplayers will be fixed or if we can be reimbursed for money spent on a broken feature?
    My BMG has gone up 10 levels since October by killing 4 mobs...
