Seriously...
2 known drops in game and both GM petitioned to Alts...and how long has it been in game for now?

I know many other rare class specific weapons that drop a lot more than this Dagger, so why is this so rare?
It is a very nice dagger and best in game for Rogues but not a game killer by any means, so is there any chance of adding it to more loot tables other than BoD and TC?
Maybe up the chance to drop by a % or 2...please?
I am not usually one to complain but this almost brought a tear to my eye to see it on someones unloved alt after the hundreds of man hours I have spent grinding for this drop.
I am sure other Rogues will agree and a lot have even given up ever trying for this drop, it reminds me of "Murderous Cleave" when it was first said to drop in KDQ and Faf along with many other Warriors began grinding for what seemed like an eternity for this ability to drop, now it drops like candy.
Please just think about upping the drop rate a tiny bit and adding it to more area's like SoD/KDQ where we are forced to go for PotA and since no new content is going to be released...?
I'm sure many other Rogues like myself do not want it to start dropping like candy but a bit of an increase and from more areas would be nice. I personally would still like it to remain rare just not ridiculously rare to the point some people do not even think it exists, I would be one of those people if I did not see it with my own two eyes on someones alt.
Rogues have an upgrade that no Rogue has access to yet on "Sparkles" plus we are still one ability short from our 51+ abilities, so why keep this Dagger away from us?
Please consider it anyway.

I only ask, because I was the guy who killed that BOD named, and looted it to a rogue. The rogue carrying the weapon is most certainly NOT AN ALT. He is an active main in Forged Souls.
I would also like to know when and where a second one dropped because I've heard nothing of this happening yet - and would like to congratulate the recipient.

It's possible that they have removed this item from loot tables because it's the only item with both Jharru and Soul slots, which is a bit overpowered. I heard a rumor that they were adding soul slots to the meteor staff too, but have yet to see that.
I suspect they had plans to include class-specific mythic drops with jharru/soul slots across the various expansions, but perhaps halted that since entering "sustaining" mode since not all classes have access to mythics?
Just idle speculation here - I really have no idea.

I do not want to go into it further as it may or may not incriminate this person depending on guild rules, I just wanted to state to Silius and Ikik that this specific dagger is in the possession of two Rogue alts and the drop rate is terrible.
I have seen both and know that at the time of viewing they were both alt Rogues.

You might be right about the "Sustaining" mode, I just do not see why they would take it out when only 2 exist in game.
It would be nice to get some answers on this matter, i know it's not game breaking but it's frustrating wasting so much of my game time grinding for this weapon and then to see it on two alts and never hear of it dropping again.

I doubt that it has been taken out. I also doubt that it does NOT drop in TC. If the chances of a world loot table drop in Troll's Coast and Bridge of Destiny coughing up the dagger is 0.005%, you'd have to kill and loot twenty thousand mobs in one of those zones before you could even begin to question your luck, let alone it's legitimacy.
The drop rate may indeed be a bit low. Considering your kill rate in TC is roughly one per minute, you would have to be in the TC chunk and in the TC chunk alone doing nothing but killing for well over a month before that number of mobs was encountered, and that's at over 10 hours per day. The server has barely been live a month.
On Seradon server, people grinded this dagger in just that fashion and gave up. It dropped by chance when it did drop to someone who wasn't grinding, and that server was up for years. It would be my guess that the drop rate is more along the lines of 0.00005%, thus requiring two million kills before you could question your luck.
I agree that in this case the drop rate should be looked at... however I also have to say that there is certainly nothing currently wrong with it's "Mythic" feel. Many people who didn't get to see the dagger as you did STILL claim the weapon to be fake, and themselves to be gullible if they believe the link.

Does the Meteor Staff (Sorc usable only) have a soul slot in it as of today? The pic in Xanadu doesn't. But sometimes Xanadu is out of date.

The dagger in my opinion is NOT overpowered for rogues. It's just the ONLY weapon oin the game that would help us get remotely close to what we SHOULD be pushing out DPS wise. I'm truly tired of Rangers and Monks outparsing us.
