Card Expired, cannot resub

  1. hey all,
    when i try and resub to vanguard with my new CC, i get to this window, which doesn't seem to load....

    Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? (sorry if im posting in the wrong place...)
  2. had some issues yesterday, they were resulved when i tried 2h later, just try again in a couple hours
  3. Yeah, I've had the same issue for about 4 days. Kind of frustrating, I really want to come back and support VG. That and the website has been wonky.

  6. This happened to me as well on two cards when I was trying to resub after a long absence. I came quite close to just bagging it and playing another game but I saw some game cards at best buy so grabbed them.
    I tried off and on all evening and it never worked. Not a great thing to be confronted with when giving a game a second chance. Wonder how many potential customers might have been lost with this. As I said I would have just passed on the game but I knew a couple folks who were trying it again and liking it. If I didn't ahve that info I would have assumed just more of why I left.

  8. I tried to resub after about a two year break 2 days ago and got that same screen over and over. If I didn't already know about this game and it was my first go at it, there's no way I would have even considered subbing for this. Fortunately I was in a Best Buy today and picked up a $15 game card and resubbed that way.
    SOE needs to fix this, unless of course they don't like money. It's probably not just for Vanguard either.
  9. As a heads up, I was able to get by using a credit, not a debit card which I was using, it skipped the whole authentication part.
  10. I believe this is related to some of the issues we have been having the past few days. Things look like they are mostly cleared up so please try again. I do apologize for the inconvenience especially for those who are trying to return.

    I've been a long time subscriber of EQ2 and I've been trying over the past few days to resub VG but am experiencing the same problem. There is nothing at all in the inset window so I cannot complete the transaction, and I've tried 2 different cards.
    I also opened the inset into a new tab and viewed the source, it is completely blank.
    My last attempt was only a few minutes ago.

    "It finally worked for me this morning."
    Tried it again after reading that, still not working at this end.

    In case you two didnt come right, to bypass this, i bought a game card from this site
    gamecards.eu .... took about 10 minutes and they emailed a scan of the key. (be sure to have your cel phone on you 'cos they call you to verify).
    Temporary fix, but chat support did tell me that this is a known issue that they are trying to resolve.

  16. I have the same problem. It seems to be an issue with debit/credit combo cards. I think there is a problem with the encrypted "verified by visa...or mastercard" section. I 'm running windows 7 so it might some kind of compatability issue there. I went to the live chat and was told by a CSR to try it using another browser. That didn't work so I tried it with an i-pad. That didn't work either. I just purched a pre-paid game card for 30 days. Maybe it will be fixed before that runs out.
  17. same problem, persists on multiple computers and browsers including smartphone, ive tried my debit/credit card as well as my credit cards, tried a few minutes ago as well. definately a losing buisness strategy to not allow resubscribers

    I don't want to advertise but just let people know.

    Took them 30 minutes to send me the key by email.
    Problem solved but SOE should really fix this ASAP

    I've send an email to SOE support 5 days ago. Still no reply...
  19. This issue was a problem with Visa cards but has been resolved. You should be able to subscribe to the game now.
