Installed the game on a new PC, and I got it up and running fine, but the game will random crash to the desktop without warning. It doesn't freeze up or show any sign that something is wrong, it just disappears and the client is no longer open. Doesn't seem to be a pattern to why it crashes I was doing different things each time. And when I have 2 instances of the game open they will both crash when it happens, not just one. Any insight on what might be the problem or a fix would be appreciated.

We have a patch coming out tomorrow that may help fix some of the crashing to desktop and freezing issues depending on which particular ones are affecting you. The problem is it runs fine on my other PC, I crash every once in a while when I zone, but nothing like this. It seems like it's specific to this PC and was wondering if there are any known issues that might cause this that i can look in to. It's a 64 bit system, windows 7, 4g ram, Intel G2030 3Ghz processor, and a HD integrated graphics card. I know the graphics card is low end for this game, but when I run it on lowest settings it is pretty smooth, it doesn't lag or get choppy. It just suddenly crashes without warning, I can just be standing there and it will do it.
Onizuka, there are known issues causing a multitude of crash to character select and desktop most notably in or near higher population chunks (or zones if you're not so familiar with our lingo). The dev team has been working on fixing the leaky memory for some time now. Hopefully with a few more turns of the digital wrench they can get those pipes to hold the flow and quit crashing.
I was having the same issues, couldn't keep the game open for more than a few minutes before it just poofed with a crash, no errors, nothing. Turned out to be an incompatible version of my sound card driver. After updated, it worked fine. Not saying that is your issue, but this was what worked for me.
I just started having this same issue since last Tuesday. I can play for anywhere from 5 to 60 minutes before it pops me back to my desktop, sometimes I can start the client again right away sometimes I have to stop the "Awesomium" process (launcher's UI widgets or such) and try again. I have updated my sound and video drivers today trying to fix this and it still happens. I have cleaned out all my fans and grills on my PC as well. Anyone have any other suggestions? this has cost me a black iron and firm hide already when it happened while crafting.. Have only CTD'd 2 or 3 times in the last year or so, but in the last 2 days I have CTD'd at least 12 times.
