Launcher not launching just hanging

As the title states it sits there with the SOE logo for like 10 minutes the i get a 504 Gateway time-out. Rest of my net is fine.

I'm having the same issue after installing. Although I'm getting alternate messages, the 504 Gateway time-out and a message telling me "It's not your fault!" LOL

So I'm taking their word for it

Same is happening to me, hope this is resolved soon, never seen this one.

It's also not just Vanguard, looks like all SOE games are affected. I'm getting the same with EQ2 and other SOE titles, launcher timesout.

Same problem here. Launcher worked just fine untill like one or two hours ago.

Well got past the SOE splash screen, the play button isn't working, but hey it's progress I guess lol.

seems to be widespread, other online accounts have been locked due to "suspicious behaviour" so I'm wondering how wide spread this mischief is?

My account isn't locked, just not launching like it should.

Luckily I have been informed "It's not my fault."

Well the troubles are over here now... will now be playing for hours on end (have a go, im sure it'll be fine).
