The psi epics seem backwards compared to the other caster epics. The epic that puts up the buff is primary hand and the epic with the 'epic mez' is off-hand. This means that I typically have the primary hand epic in a weapon so that the buff can go up (25 energy/sec 10% chance on cast) and the epic mez aug sits in my bags so I can use it if I need to. I would expect that the psi epics would be like the other casters, with the off hand epic being the 'buff' and the primary hand being the 'epic ability'. Due to the nature of caster items available in game, I just don't use the off hand epic mez as my stats take a big hit if I do (use ASG, which is better than stats on epic aug). Thanks -Morden
This isn't a bad suggestion - it certainly would add some more room to play with stats/builds & will make itemizing the next tier of content much easier. I like the idea I will say though, you should see more total damage from either Teraxes or Shendu focus in your main hand than from the ASG. If you use the Ulvari burst (Teraxes Wand) every time it's up, that with the CDB will easily make up for the 5% damage from the ASG. Harder to get your hands on, but the added CDB and Proc chance from the Shendu foucs yield even better results - especially when paired with the Varking Shield. The Summoner's Bolt ability is invaluable. Really, the only caster that should use the ASG over these two focii is the Bloodmage because they rely on single, big hits to heal and don't like the variability of relying on the Varking Shield proc.
