  1. So as it says I'm just downloading the game and was wondering on a good break down for some of the dps classes... which one solos the best and which are most wanted later on end game?
  2. Firstly, welcome to the game! I hope that you decide to stay a very long time! :)
As to your question, in truth, the Vanguard classes are all very strong. As far as strong solo-ing classes, from my experience; Blood Mage, Psi, Necro, Druid and Sorc all solo well. Of my other classes, they are all strong, and I would want to expend more time with them before giving a definitive.
As a major suggestion, especially with this being your first character for the game, I would highly recommend playing what you feel interests you the most, as the classes all have very nice advantages in and of themselves.
If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a shout at any time.
    All the best!
  3. Weclome to the game!!
Little reason for the great answer above, Vanguard is not about the end game but the journey. There is alot of end game content, but there is alot more to see getting there. Vanguard is an alt o holics dream, so much to see and do, you will want many characters.
As far as useful, every class has its role, and each provides it in a different way. I always recomend you try a few and get a feel, then decide what you play most, or fight with how your going to divide your time over so many great characters!
  4. You can't say h e double hockey sticks, or beaver dam with an n or other things you would not see in Gone with the Wind in the 1930s, but a cute little kitten can get away with saying bee information technology caffiene headache?

The kitten you refered to was about to mess some dogs up. The use was correct. My cats smack my dogs around all the time, funny to watch 60+ pound dogs cower to a little kitten.
