Vanguard: Saga of Heroes Sunset FAQ - NEW INFO added on 7/24/14

Is it close enough to the end that we can be told what time the world is ending? Would help for making plans...

Is Vanguard: Saga of Heroes being shut down?
Yes. Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) is scheduled to sunset Vanguard: Saga of Heroes on July 31, 2014.

That is the date not the time. Is it going down at 12am the moment it becomes the 31st? 11:59pm the very end of the day? End of the work day? Is the server going to go down for the daily restart and never come back up? The time of the real sunset in San Diego for that day? Lots of options and it would be nice to know (like if it goes down the minute it turns the 31st its not going to be worth taking that day off work to say goodbye, but would want to have the day before off instead).

Since it states the last day to play is July 31st. I would think that means you could play up until 11:59 pm p.s.t. on the 31st. Hopefully Yaviey can chime in on this.

Yeah, I was coming on to find out when the exact server shutdown time will be (as well as the shutdown time for Wizardry Online). It would be nice to be able to ensure play time on that day, since most gamers are working stiffs and would have to schedule around work.

While I am sad to see Vangard fall, given that this is Sony it was going to happen, just like SWG. All of us left still playing, this can go play Elder Scrolls Online at least, it is the same (mostly) with updated graphics
