Recommendations for Nvidia card?

My current PC is getting long in the tooth and is currently using a Radeon 6670, but I am planning to build a PC dedicated to gaming and I have a question about what would be a "moderately" priced Nvidia card that would let me play Vanguard with or approaching the following settings:
    -1920x1080 (native display resolution)
-30+ fps in cities (khal and veskal's, I'm looking at you)
-ultra high render quality and texture quality settings
-enabling all other settings or setting them to the maximum

    Thanks in advance.

I like the Tomshardware section on video cards. I am not sure what price you have in mind when you say moderate. This site will give recommendations at various price levels.

The thing with Vanguard is the CPU bottleneck, not so much the GPU. Nearly any modern graphics card you buy is going to to do the trick. I've been recommending the GTX670 as the go-to card for bang-for-your-buck for modern gaming.

But again, with Vanguard, you'll want to make sure you have a CPU with a high clock rate. Don't let the core count fool you, the faster the better. An SSD would also not go amiss.

    Hey there,
Not sure what kind of price category you had in mind. but The big shocker from the last few weeks is the Amd radeon 290, being just a tad slower than the big top models ( 290x / geforce 780 ti), but seriously cheaper. Still talking 399$ though.

Bit cheaper but still a nice card, nvidia geforce 760, 260$.

Like koralith said though, purely just for vanguard its not gona make much difference, get a juicy i5 or i7 cpu and itll run on any current mid range card. My 6950 does 60 fps in khal for example. An SSD will do wonder for vg too.
Then again i guess your not just building a pc for vg, so a bit of gfx power wont hurt in other games ;), the amd R9 290 really is a sweet deal.
