Reverence is taking a 2 week break from our PUG raids as per usual around this time of year, to allow members, friends and guests time to spend with family and take leave for the holidays.

We wish each and every one of you a safe and happy holidays and an even better new year!

Take care and we will see you back raiding at 1930 on Sunday the 12th of January 2014 (Australian Eastern Standard Time GMT+11 during Summer DLS)

Actually started a new toon, as some friends wanted to give the game a shot. Fun being a noob once more as I am having to learn it all over again, but that is half the fun.

Had several questions to ask in help and the community has been quick to answer, which is much appreciated. Aasha I think it was let me know how to get on my ship, after I launched it and couldn't remember how to get on it lol( that was more about memory lane though, flying mounts seem to be far more readily available now then when I last played )

I have seen two or three people around with the Reverence tag which always provides some fond memories when I see it.

    I remember you!! ;-)

It is the same for me with the fondness of seeing the Reverence tag. I keep emailing friends who were Reverence members trying to poke them with pointy sticks to make them return to game!! ;-)

It is my hope that the Reverence tag becomes as bountiful as bunnies soon!

That is very kind of you Aasha :)

It is really just a lack of players in our time zone that is stopping us from rebuilding again, that and what little Australians are playing are scattered around among casual US/EUR guilds. I would love to see more log on, come back or join as completely new characters in our time zone and be funnelled towards Reverence. :)

Well I am hoping my friends like the game, it has such great dungeons, imo the best group content of any mmo I have played.
One of the reasons I started fresh, aside from playing with my friends, is my old toons have so much stuff on them that I have no idea what it is and the prospect of tidying them up was daunting, in time after playing a new toon, I might be able to.

Till then I am happy to just wander around and see the world, do some diplo, craft some, kill a few mobs and drag some corpses about :p

    Hi Faerar, welcome to VG!

You are more than welcome to join, we don't have many online these days but if you are just looking to hang out and chat to fellow Aussies in guild chat then you are welcome to join us. Myself and 2 of my Officers are online nearly every night and will try to find you in game to send you an invite.

Please be advised that we were unable to continue running a functional guild with so few players, for that reason, we have decided to assign alts Management status and move our main characters over with our good friends in Exile.

We tried for as long as we could to keep Reverence alive but without player support in our time zone, we were fighting a losing battle, that only got worse every time SOE made an announcement that would further impact the game and our guild.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in Reverence for such great memories over the years, I hope we can continue our success in other games down the line.

    Kind Regards

    Kilsin

I am so sorry to read this, Kilsin, but I am happy to read that those still in Reverence will be remaining in Telon. Exile is getting some fantastic additions to their group.

Hard decision to make but probably the right one for you guys to keep enjoying the game.

Recruit to management in a few weeks, I'm a rising star :)

It was very tough mate, the decision to shut down VG made it all that more clear for me, I would rather hang with friends and have fun until the game shuts down or the fun stops or the friends leave than sit in an empty guild that was a shadow of its former self.

I will catch up with you in game for a chat mate :)

Shouldn't you beat the game atm not on the forums? :)

When I first read your last post I hadn't heard the news.

I have only been in VG a very short time but have really enjoyed it. You and the others still in Reverence as well as the rest of the player base have been a large part of that.

I wish I had yried this game years ago.

    Thanks all

I will keep it short and sweet but I wanted to say a quick word.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to our Reverence PUGs over the last few years, we truly enjoyed every moment of it and without the kind of support that we got, it would not have been possible to continue running the PUG successfully for so long.

So from all of us at Reverence, thank you very much! :)

A Special thanks to Telyrant and Psycroptic for helping so much during the final years, it really means a lot to me and I would've struggled a lot without your help, so thank you guys, it is really appreciated :)

Goodbye Vanguard: Saga of heroes, from all of us here at Reverence :(
