Ok. I am pretty sure I have enough faction to buy these recipies. I'm a level 18 carpenter but I can't seem to buy the 18 and below level recipies. They say I need Minerologist and/or Thestrian apprentice flags?
The recipes are 18 difficulty, but are apprentice (T3) recipes. You cannot start the Apprentice quest until you are level 21, which is why you cannot pick them up. Once you do reach level 21, and do the Apprentice quests, you'll be able to pick them up. They'll be fairly easy at that point.
First, if you choose carpenter you will not be able to learn Minerologist recipes. Second, if you have not yet done the apprentice quest unlock, you will need to do that before you can purchase any apprentice recipes.
lol.. yah, and what Kanashimi said. Carpenters cannot learn mineralogy recipes and vice-versa. But I was also correct, there are some lvl 18 recipes that a 18 mineralogist cannot pick up because they require completion of the apprentice quest at 21.
