The Repopulation - New player guild

Discussion in 'Guild Recruitment' started by ARCHIVED-purpherb, Jul 18, 2012.

  1. Hey, just formed The Repopulation with the goal of getting the lower level players together to explore and to make it easier finding groups. We are all below level 30 right now and are looking to grow! The guild is only one day old so if you are looking to experience everything a guild has to offer (making a guild hall, learning dungeons/raids eventually, etc.) than you should join us. While there are other guilds that mentor lower level players or level them up with their alts, our guild members will be right there with you learning. Hopefully other people think that is more fun lol.
We are pretty laid back and just expect that members are not pricks to each other in the game. If you want to join contact Heeber, Keledrin, or Firbleg for an invite. Oh, and we are on the US server.

  2. I'm interested for sure. Might have some friends. really wish the FTP started tho. Only played the trial version so far. Doesnt seem to make much sense to buy the game at this point

buy the game disks for dirt cheap make all the classes you want (that wont be f2p ones), plus the extra char slots you'll get for free. :) heck you can get disks on ebay for like 3 dollars lol...
  4. I was looking for recruiters of your guild online, but they are all of while playing.
That brings me to the question what time zone most of you are.
I am at GMT+1 and after 11pm i do not play (despite sure dates for grouping for an additional hour or so).
Some more information would be helpful, thank you.
    Greetings, Paraglax
  5. You mentioned level 30 below and was wondering if you are planning to be a progression casual/raid guild with a level cap?

Peak hours seem to be in the evening, EST (gmt -5) and a bit less for PST (gmt -8). I don't know how many European players we have on. I think there are a few though.

There are no plans for any kind of raiding at the moment.
The main goal is to get similar-level players together so they can group up. A side benefit is that we get to experience dungeons off the golden path that would be more difficult to find groups for if you were solo. (we don't organize these, its usually spur of the moment)
The 30 level cap is somewhat arbitrary and just there because we don't have anyone above that level yet, so they wouldn't have anything to do. As we start getting players over 30, the cap will be raised. Currently we range from 10-28 with the highest distribution at around 20.
  8. True, but consider you are going to lose the side benefit once you raise the level cap. You end up being more spread out so may be more difficult to group up with your guild members.
I presently belong to a progressive raid guild on EQ2, we're capped at 81. I have been a member of many guilds across different mmorpgs and this progressive guild is the most enjoyable one I have been in. Much easier to group/raid up when most of us are capped at the same level. Can be frustrating to join a new guild where most players are leveled to the max thus out of reach to group up.
Just saying if you change your mind.
I am an ex-Vanguard player and can't wait to try out once the F2P comes out, hopefully soon.

I am interested. I've never heard of that concept before. Sent you a PM.

We might be in the same EQ2 guild. This would be something I'd be very interested in as well for Vanguard. Love it on EQ2, and for some returning players (as well as some new ones) it could be very enticing if we can get enough interest.
  11. i have a sorcerer that is currently looking for a guild.

Look us up in the guild recruitement window and send a tell to any recruiter that is on.
  13. very interested. I just resubbed last night and plan to start fresh with a ranger. I have some experience with the game so leveling should come quick. you guys use voice chat?

We have a teamspeak server, which we will use when we all get together and run a dungeon.
  15. I would very much be interested in such a guild.
I have played off and on, mostly on, since Beta 2.5.
I have several characters but only one 50, my Bard Rokal. Other than him I have a 33 Cleric, 31 Ranger, 23 Pally, and a 10 Cleric on IoD whom I am hoping to start anew with a group of folks.
With so much to do in VG believe it or not I haven't done probably 90% of the dungeons, so most of that group content is new to me.
I'd also like to help do "guild things" like build a guild hall, etc. my Bard has max lumberjacking and can lead harvest groups whenever folks would want.
I understand if I am too experienced so to speak for what you're looking for. Just let me know.
Oh, very casual player by the way; 6 to 8 hours per WEEK, if lucky, 8:30pm to 9:30/10:00pm Eastern 3 or 4 nights per week and some weekends.
    Take care.
  16. Is the cap still 30?
  17. Hey hey hey. I'm just starting to get into Vanguard since it went Free2Play and would definitely be interested in playing with a guild around my low low level. This world is huge and I need someone to show me whats up. I'm very excited to play and can be a very active participant in anything I'm able to help out with. My ingame name will be Kaleoh and I'll be on later tonight.
