  1. Gameplay
    • Characters level 51 and higher will now receive improved XP from targets that are 4 levels beneath them.
      • For example, a level 54 character can kill level 50 mobs for good XP.
      • There is a steep drop off in XP when killing targets 5 or more levels beneath the character.
    • The corpses of Greater Earth Elementals will now decay if not harvested.

    Marketplace
    • Item of the Day has come to Vanguard! Every day a different item will be featured on sale at a discounted price.
    • The Marketplace window has been updated for improved browsing.
      • New Items is now the default view when opening the Marketplace.
      • A category has been added to show all items currently on sale.
      • Items are now sorted alphabetically within each category.
      • A number of items in the Services category have been renamed to be clearer about the function they serve.
      • Ground mounts can be previewed on your character. Additional types of items will be viewable in the preview window in a future update.

    Video Settings
    • New installs of the game will now default to High Quality settings instead of Balanced.
    • The Highest Performance rendering option has been removed.
    • Telon is a beautiful world! If you have installed Vanguard on newer hardware, we encourage you to try increasing your Render and Texture Quality settings to appreciate the detail and drama of your surroundings.

    Abilities
    • In order to increase flavor, differentiation, and fun for players as they progress their characters from levels 1 to 10, one to three abilities have been moved into this range for all classes.
      • Warrior: Devastating Blow (4), Waylay (6), Rend Armor (8)
      • Paladin: Aegis Strike (4), Dictum of Valus (6), Champion's Might (8)
      • Dreadknight: Anthamine's Charge (4), Harrow (8)
      • Ranger: Thorn Cloak (4), Tame (6), Entangling Web (8)
      • Rogue: Backstab (6)
      • Monk: Ignore Pain (4), Feign Death (6), Ashen Hand (8)
      • Bard: Eaon's Blasting Bellow (4), Thread the Needle (6)
      • Cleric: Hammer of Penance (4), Resolution (6)
      • Shaman: Grasp of Goromund (4), Infusion (6)
      • Disciple: Inner Light (6), Transcendence (8)
      • Bloodmage: Union of Blood (4), Entwining Vein (6), Vitalize (8)
      • Sorcerer: Char (4), Magical Manifestation (6)
      • Druid: Piercing Roots (4), Solar Flare (6)
      • Psionicist: Suggestion (4), Expansive Mind (6)
      • Necromancer: Devouring Shadows (8)
    • Monk: North Wind Breaks the Trunk ability line should now correctly do damage.

    Items
    • Lockboxes now have an increased chance of rewarding valuable items.
      • Odds of obtaining the most rare and desirable items in the chests have been improved.
      • Chests now have a chance of awarding multiple skeleton keys.
      • To give players another opportunity to obtain items included in the previously available Finch chests, these will be dropping throughout the month of November.
      • In December, we will introduce a new deity-themed series of chests.
    • Item rewards earned by completing missives have been improved to be more desirable. This upgrades about 500 items.
    • The chupacabry costume should no longer cast the vultureman illusion.

    Quests
    • Pantheon of the Ancients daily quests will now grant a Tranquil Spirit Sliver if the player has gotten to that part of their epic quest.
    • "Heading Home" no longer has a duplicate reward, which was preventing the quest from being completed.
    • "Lightning Research" no longer has a duplicate reward, which was preventing the quest from being completed.
