Tooltip Numbers/Stats Question

I was wondering what the red/green numbers in parenthesis behind the values on the tool-tip represent exactly?

For example: My Level 30 Paladin's "Healing Touch III" indicates that it heals for 923 (745), but actually heals for 1169 under my standard offensive/defensive melee auras. Looking at my Vitality modifier of 126.7% I can see that 923 x 1.267 = 1169, so what the heck does the (745) number represent if 923 is obviously my base no-frills unmodified healing amount?

I would guess it's a meaningless bug from the patch like +weapon damage showing on a lot of gear. If there was some negative to your healing then 745 would be the base amount, but if it seems to be working properly then it's likely a typo. But there could be a better explanation.

It's something like Green numbers are a bonus due to stats and Red numbers mean your stat is too low. Like 923 would be the normal it would heal and 745 is supposed to be what it would with current stats or something. From what I hear vitality healing mods are currently all fubared with the patch or something.
